For this project, I wanted to experiment with making an endgrain cutting board. I ended up approaching it in a pretty roundabout way — I started by cutting the wood into individual blocks, only to realize I’d need to glue each one together by hand. This made the build much more time-consuming than my usual projects. Despite the extra effort, the result was absolutely worth it. After glue-up, I sanded the surface smooth and flat, evened out the edges, and then beveled them to give the board a clean, modern look. I finished the piece with mineral oil to bring out the color and protect the surface.
